This isn’t just any old weekend in Downtown Calgary. There’s a lot going on that you should be aware of.
Ever wondered what it would be like if you had been to a famous music festival before it got old and filled with people who were more there for the “experience” (of drinking their faces off for two days) than for the music? I’m not sure that festival exists, but there’s a pretty good bet that the closest thing you’ll ever see to that glorious, shining ideal is this weekend’s MTT Festival. Created by the duo behind the popular Music Times Two Online Magazine, the MTT Fest is a sparkling showcase of Indie talent. Tickets are available HERE.
Side note: We’re sponsoring this contest not just with a paragraph in our sublime Blog, but also with a significant room rate discount. We still have a few rooms left, so if you’re coming down for the fest, stay with us!
Second Last Weekend for Groupons
I’ve explained our stance on before, but bygones being spades, if you have one of our Groupons you are running out of time to make full use of it. The Expiry is April 1st, and after that you can only redeem them for their value against a regular room. So, even if you can’t use the Groupons in the next two weeks never fear! They basically become your very own $65 value Nuvo Hotel Bucks! We are one step closer to declaring ourselves our very own sovereign nation.
Friends of Free
If you don’t already know what @FriendsOfFree is, then you should definitely check it out. It’s basically an opt-in, perpetual, awesome contest machine. Right now, the contest is for a free weekend stay with us, Nuvo Hotel Suites. So, if you’re looking for a free stay in a cool Boutique Hotel in Downtown Calgary this is your best bet.
Jonathan Meier is the Online Marketing and Social Media Coordinator at Nuvo Hotel Suites, a small boutique hotel in Downtown Calgary, Alberta. To learn more about the Nuvo, peruse the rest of the site or check out our Facebook Page. When he’s not at his desk, he’s usually out in the mountains near his hometown of Canmore where he can be seen climbing, skiing, or doing anything at all that doesn’t involve computers.
