The rooms here at Nuvo Hotel Suites are all self-sufficient apartments. They come furnished with everything from full kitchens to laundry machines. Because of this, breakfast with us a is a little different than what most people expect from a hotel in downtown Calgary. If you add a breakfast box to your reservation, this is what we put in your fridge:
Since we don't have any restaurant facilities on site, we make use of Bumpy's Cafe, a fantastic local cafe situated a couple of blocks away from us. All the food is made from scratch, and their muffins are probably the greatest in the world. Adding a Breakfast Box to your reservation is an additional $11.95.
Please note that our standard Queen Bed Suites do NOT come with ensuite Washer/Dryers. If you would like to have some laundry done while you are staying with us, please inform the Front Desk, or our housekeepers, and we will gladly provide you with laundry service.
While we have several different brands of Washer/Dryers in our suites here at Nuvo Hotel Suites, they're all fairly similar. They are all Two-In-One units designed for small loads of laundry, and overloading them will slow them down considerably. If you are having any problems with your Laundry Units please contact the Front Desk or, if after hours, contact the On-Call Manager at 403.999.7678. Of course you can! While we can't guarantee that your room will be ready before the normal Check-In time (3 PM), we will always be happy to store your luggage in our office, and move it into your room when it's ready for you.
Easy. Just send us an e-mail or give us a call during our normal office hours a day or two before you are due to arrive. We can set you up with everything you need to Check In and access your room over the phone. We always make an effort to get in touch with our guests to set this up before they arrive, but feel free to give us a call as well.
There is a 20 minute Loading Zone on 12th Ave SW right in front of the hotel. Park there to unload and get set up with a permanent parking spot at the Check-In office. If you are arriving after 10 PM call into the office (403.452.6789) and we will set you up with a parking stall in advance.

You bet there is! You can order a Breakfast Box from our favourite locally-owned cafeBumpy's The box will be delivered to your fridge the night before you need it, and contains a Piece of Fruit, a Yogurt Parfait, one of the Greatest Muffins ever created by mankind, and some Orange Juice.
I'm afraid that is one thing we do not have. However, our staff are always happy to help you carry your bags to your room(s). If you have an issue with staircases in general, call ahead to let us know, and we'll make sure you get a room on either the first or second floor.
Yes, but within reason. There is a weight limit of 30 lbs(give or take a few) for pets who visit Nuvo. Essentially, small to medium sized dogs and cats are easily accommodated, however Great Danes and pet Hippopotami, not so much.
There is an additional cost of $25 per stay attached to any booking with a pet, which is to cover the cost of the mandatory deep clean upon check-out. Also, please be advised that if excessive damage to the guest room is caused by your pet and repairs or additional deep cleaning is required, the guest will be liable for those costs.
Each guest suite has a fully equipped kitchen with energy-efficient appliances: refrigerator, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. It is fully-stocked with all the essentials of pots, pans, knives, utensils, dishes, cutlery and glasses; everything you need to whip up a delicious meal! Other amenities include:

For guests arriving later than 10 PM in the evening, we ask that you call our reservations line prior to your arrival date so that we can arrange for a late arrival. If you need to contact a manager at any point during your stay, one is always available at 403.999.7678.
Our check in time is at 3pm, and check out is at 11am. Nuvo offers early check in based upon availability. Please contact us by email or phone the day prior to your arrival and we can inform you about early check in.
Late checkouts are based upon availability. We also offer a half day rate for those guests requiring an evening checkout, and who wish to keep the room all day.
